Greetings and welcome to my very first blog post! I may be a rookie in the blogging world, but I promise you're in for an entertaining ride. Let me give you a sneak peek into my colorful journey through the world of Print On Demand (PoD) and digital artistry.

So, picture this: it's August 2022, and I'm diving headfirst into the PoD scene. I wouldn't say I was an artistic prodigy. In fact, I wouldn't know a paintbrush from a spatula! My creativity thrived in another realm – photography, since the early 2000s, I've been capturing the wonders of nature, with a particular penchant for bird photography since February 2020. Prior to that I captured smiles and portraits of individual and unique faces.

Fast forward to 2022, and my camera gear threw in the towel, quite literally. My trusty Canon 7D Mk II and Tamron 150-600mm lens decided it was time for a retirement party. That's when my path led me to PoD and digital art. Little did I know, this was just the prologue of an exciting adventure.

Now, let's leap to the beginning of September 2023, where the real magic unfolds. Amazon Merch, the shining star of Print On Demand, welcomed me with open arms. I wasn't handed the typical newbie badge; they tossed me a Tier 1000 crown. While most start at Tier 10, I was gifted a 1,000-design capacity, thanks to the Amazon gods. In other words, I can potentially have 66,000 products floating around Amazon like digital fireflies. So far, I've brought to life 224 designs, and a whopping 7,188 products are now strutting their stuff on the Amazon runway.

But wait, there's more! My artistic journey doesn't stop at Amazon Merch. I've been spreading my creative wings across various PoD platforms like Redbubble, Society6, TeePublic, Zazzle, and a few others. Among them, Redbubble has been my long-time companion. With over 750 designs floating in the digital sea, I've raked in sales and built a lovely little nest egg. Some of my treasures include bird and nature photos, but the majority? Well, they're crafted with the wizardry of digital and AI artistry.

My learning curve is still scaling the heights of Mount Creativity. Up until now, I've conjured 15 sales on Redbubble and 5 on Amazon – my freshest POD venture. Society6 gifted me one sale in a year (better than none, right?), while TeePublic has granted me 2 sales and Zazzle has yet to ring my artistic cash register. But you know what? This is just the start! The learning journey is where the real adventure lies, from honing my artistry to mastering the Photoshop sorcery and nailing the art of sizing designs., SEO, tagging, titling and more!

So, what kind of art tickles my creative fancy, you ask? I've been waltzing down the path of Fantasy Animals, the enchantment of Nature, and the dreamy allure of Watercolor and Charcoal painting styles. I've even whipped up a few wicked Halloween themes, some heartwarming Thanksgiving treats, and enough Christmas magic to make Santa jealous!

With the Q4 Holiday Shopping Season in full swing, I'm positively giddy with anticipation. I can't wait to see what unfolds during my first holiday season on Amazon Merch. Who knows? Maybe my designs will be the stars of this season's digital stocking stuffers!
